Principle of Operation
The OGS comes with two quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) sensors, one that is plated with copper and another with silver. The QCM is used to measure the corrosive film that results from the environment. This highly sensitive method of measurement will indicate contaminant levels at or less than one part per billion (1 ppb). The corrosion film thickness is measured and recorded in Angstroms (Å). This measurement corresponds directly to ISA Standard S71.04-2013.

Reactivity monitoring is an accurate and reliable method of evaluating the quality of air, characterizing the room environment, and evaluating the effectiveness of chemical filters. The OG4’s copper and silver sensors measure the rate of corrosion in real-time. An internal data logger stores the results to be accessed through the internet or directly transmit to a process control system. Ideal for control rooms, server rooms, motor control centers, rack rooms, or other areas where corrosion is a concern, the OG4 prompts preventive action before serious problems develop.

Connectivity Requirements
Special care should be given to selecting the location when installing the OG4. Select a clean, dry location free of excess vibration where the temperature will be between -10° and 75° C (14° and 167° F) and the relative humidity will be between 10% and 95% non-condensing. It should be placed near the electronics, or within the protected space, to provide an accurate representation of the air affecting the equipment.

Copper and Silver Analysis
After an installation period of 30 days, the CCCs are collected from the field and returned to Purafil’s laboratory for analysis. The purpose of CCC analysis is to determine the type and thickness of corrosion films on the surface of each metal coupon. A normalized 30-day reactivity rate is calculated using the amount of time the metal coupon is exposed and the thickness of the corrosion that has formed.
ISA Environmental Classes: Airborne Contaminants
This standard requires that rooms containing backplane wired equipment, instrumentation, process control systems or computers, must have a G1 environmental classification, defined in terms of corrosion thickness as 0-299 Angstroms (Å) per 30 days on copper and 0-199 Å per 30 days on silver coupons. Purafil provides a report that directly correlates to the G1, G2, G3, and GX ratings.

Designed for government, universities and colleges, K-12 schools, healthcare facilities, and small-to-medium corporations, the DTC1500 boasts distinctive security features. A built-in custom watermark overlay function allows for the application of a customized transparent security image — such as a logo, symbol or text — to be integrated as a permanent watermark within the printed card’s overlay panel, making duplication virtually impossible. The DTC1500 custom watermark provides organizations with a cost-efficient way to significantly increase card security and thwart would-be-counterfeiters without additional investment in holographic overlaminates or foil cards. The DTC1500 also comes equipped with a unique resin scramble data protection feature, providing an additional layer of security by hiding any information printed with a resin panel. Standard password protection and AES 256 data encryption provide additional peace of mind. Beyond robust security, the DTC1500 offers innovative printing features such as resin threshold. Resin threshold allows for true K panel printing by allowing printer operators to manually set and adjust precisely when the resin is utilized based on color concentration. As a result, text and barcodes are darker and more crisply defined. What’s more, built-in dual-side printing can be activated by simply using an RFID tag, making after-purchase upgrades virtually effortless. Evolis High Trust original colour ribbons have been designed to produce the very best image quality with Evolis card printing systems. You can use our YMCKO ribbon for every single or double-sided colour printing. In addition to the standard colours (Yellow, Magenta, Cyan and Black), YMCKO ribbons apply a protective varnish (O) that protects the card’s printed elements. Evolis ribbons are designed to last longer, thanks to their high-quality construction and materials. They are also 100% compatible with your printer and will not damage it. The ribbon comprises a PET core film with a thin layer of specialized coatings. This ribbon offers a very low concentration of colourant insoluble in water, which allows the ribbons to be reused at least 3 times without losing their quality. Its printing life is up to 3 years, depending on the usage volume. The ribbon is compatible with PVC and composite cards. Advantages - · Capable of reproducing up to 16 million colours, all ribbons are formulated to produce sharp, bright images and clear text. The protective varnish allows a better lifespan of your prints.
